Bare Roots Gardening is always looking for positive, creative, responsible problem-solvers who share our vision of quality craftsmanship and excellent client relations.

Bare Roots Gardening is a full-service residential landscape design-build and garden maintenance company serving Columbia, SC, and the surrounding Midlands since 2018. We specialize in naturalistic planting with native plants, care for ornamental gardens, and installation of hardscapes, irrigation, landscape lighting, and garden features.

We maintain a very high level of quality in our work. Working with capable people who care about each other and the work they do is a big part of what makes this job enjoyable.

Our goal is to create sustainable outdoor places our clients can call home—landscapes that engage the senses, celebrate seasonal change, and get better with age. We’re here to build great gardens and great gardeners, too.

Grow with Bare Roots Gardening

We offer competitive pay, paid vacation, and the potential for profit sharing. We welcome candidates from diverse backgrounds. If you’re passionate about plants and ready to do meaningful work that lasts, we’d like to hear from you.

Every position asks for honesty, a positive attitude, hard work outdoors, and a willingness to learn and take direction. You’ll need a valid driver’s license with a clean record and reliable daily transportation.
